Calling all practicing OTs!
Through NYU Steinhardt’s Remuneration Program, you could be eligible to take courses tuition-free in exchange for supervising our students. The program provides a wonderful opportunity for you to enhance your skills and credentials while providing valuable assistance to our OT students.
You can earn the value of three tuition credits for supervising a Level II Fieldwork student at your facility.
Eligibility for the Remuneration Program
Free tuition credits are awarded under the following conditions in recognition of the significant contribution that each supervisor makes to the education of our students:

Tuition credits must be used within one calendar year from the end of the term during which they were earned.
Only six credits may be used by any one person in one term.
As a part of the Remuneration Program, you may decide to take an individual course or to use the credit toward one of our post-professional degrees.
Every semester (summer included) our department offers post-professional courses that will further your clinical, practical, and theoretical knowledge. Check back here for a list of our current course offerings (please note: class days and times are subject to change).
Registering for Courses
To take an individual course, you need to complete the and submit it to the Office of Graduate Admissions along with the application fee and proof of your bachelor’s. If you are currently enrolled in a post-professional degree at NYU Steinhardt, please skip this step.

How to Take on a Fieldwork Student
If you are interested in taking a fieldwork student, please send the information below to firstname.lastname@example.org.

In order to receive NYU fieldwork students, site supervisors work with our academic fieldwork coordinator and clinical placement administrator to establish an affiliation agreement. In addition to this agreement, each site must submit an AOTA data form, establish site-specific objectives for student assessment, and discuss mutual expectations.
